MoMS is access to the Smithsonian for small-town America through museum exhibitions, research, educational resources, and programming.
We've visited 1,400 communities across America since 1994.

Mount Vernon High School has emerging storytellers in their midst! A class of Journalism students has been making noise in the community by interviewing athletes, former students, coaches, and sports stars, ahead of the arrival of the exhibition Hometown Teams.
The Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service is honored to offer the first Claudine K. Brown Internship in Education for the summer of 2018. The deadline to submit an online application through the Smithsonian Online Academic Appointment System is March 15, 2018.
